m running out of things to blog.
Suddenly, i remembered that i did not complete blogging about my graduation trip. Therefore, before memories fade away, i'd better blog it down for reference next time.
for your/my references, here are the past installments for grad trip
Part 2: Mui Ne
and here goes Part 8: Sapa Part II.................
after the 1st day of trekking along the mountainous area of SAPA, GT gang was all ready for the 2nd day of trekking.
prior to that, we met a fellow group of Singaporeans from SMU the previous night, had a drinking session with them and found out more about the trekking program for the 2nd day.
Apparently, our programs are the same, just that swap different days, so our Day 2 = their Day 1.
the trekking route for the 2nd day was slightly tougher, with a lot of slippery grounds to be expected.
therefore, we equipped ourselves with life-saving bamboo sticks as we embarked on the trip.
nice sceneries along the way ..
we didnt get to see the rice padi field on our 1st day of trekking, glad that our 2nd day of trekking brings us to the mountainous areas where the rice padi fields are.
a deep valley.
nice view of the padi fields
beautiful background, definitely must capture 1 shot!
GT gang together with tour guide and fellow tourist..
we spent some time on this piece of flat grassy land, with freeflow of fresh air and captivating sceneries.
we even took a video of xin demonstrating her golfing skills, thumbs up for the posture =)
round 1 FIGHT !
some parts of the trekking route were not too easy, but that also add fun to the trekking experience.
we have to cross a small river stream, and there were only 2 bamboo sticks that separate the 2 sides!
a great test of balancing skills.
another challenging area:
.
perfect place to sit down and chit chat.
free roaming buffalo, and there's even a chicken below it!
an interesting sight, 1 whole row of farmers planting the rice crops. really organised!
another beautiful scenery not to be missed.
we chanced upon their school and their hospital during the trip
a fairly simple and decent classroom.
their "hospital", don't really look like 1, and i'm not sure if it's still functioning, looks like it's closed down
Round 2 FIGHT !
end of trip
big thanks to the bamboo sticks, they have served us well during the trekking trip.
alright, that roughly sums up our 3D3N stay in SAPA.
It is 1 of the most memorable places we went during our 2weeks grad trip. The sceneries there are simply beautiful, esp @ the Heaven's Gate where we had a great view of the valleys and ravines amidst the passing cloud.
The weather is perfect, cooling and rid of any pollution you'll find in urban cities.
It is a place that i'll definitely hope to revisit again next time.
final 2 installments for Grad trip coming up soon...
